'''Dhimzes''' ([ˈdɪmzeɪz]; [[Dhimze language|Dhimze]]: {{cs|dhm|jhmirjhvit;}} [ˈd͡ʒmird͡ʒvitʰ], pl. {{cs|dhm|jhmirjhviá}} [d͡ʒmirˈd͡ʒvia]) are an ethnic group native to the Western [[Triangle Sea]] area in Northeastern [[Yazland]]. Dhimzes constitute the main population of [[Dhimrai]] and a significant minority in various colonies across the [[Commonwealth of Dhimrai]]. In [[Ancient Dhimrai|ancient history]], Dhimze colonies were established around the Triangle Sea and most notably on [[Etzavaz]], however the ethnic Dhimze population there is now considered a [[Gharzi people|distinct ethnic group]].

[[Dhimze language|Dhimze]] is a [[Yasgan languages|Yasgan]] language and one of two surviving members of the [[Dhimzic languages|Dhimzic]] branch, along with [[Gharzi language|Gharzi]]. It is one of the oldest continuously spoken languages in Jotunnheim. Like several other languages of the region it is written in the [[Dhimze script]], which developed into its modern form around the early 4th millenium [[Meta:Calendar systems in Jotunnheim#CY|CY]].

Most Dhimzes follow [[Pheiaism|Pheiaic faith]], a church of [[Yasgan religion]] based on early [[Classical Dhimze language|Classical Dhimze]] texts and traditions. Pheiaism is a polytheistic religion centered around [[Pheias]], goddess of life, and [[Judzin]], god of [[Yggdrasil|the Sun]]. It is one of the largest religions on Jotunnheim.
