The Domain of Protection (Tschintierst: X) is a government agency of Tschintiessteiss. Managed by the Ministry of State Affairs, the Domain of Protection is responsible for domestic intelligence gathering and counterterrorism, along with some foreign intelligence roles in collaboration with the Domain of State Forsight. Established in 4600 CY by order of Seer Gozmu Mörtschvis and with encouragement from King Ytytschooryn Tschaabdüsche, the Domain of Protection was created as a result of the 4600 Jvuzrada bombings and a resulting "purple scare" in the Tschintierst government over the rise of Tzalism in the Gintem Confederation.
