Dåånyss Tschümiir (Tschintierst: dæ-nis-chy-mír-pech-mid Dåånyss Tschümiir Petschmid) was a Gintem writer, philosopher, and political theorist. He wrote of Tschintierst colonial expansion as a noble spread of civilization to the darkest corners of the world. His most famous work The Dark Continent advocated for the Gintem people to bring “civilization” to the little-known area of South Yazland. His work moved and inspired many Tschintiersts, and he would later go on to have the colony of Tschümiir’s Port named after him.
