Dusorson (Tschintierst: dy-zor-zon Dusorson) is the capital city and most populous city in Tschintiessteiss. It lies near the edge of the Jarüden River in northeast Tschintiessteiss, and has been the capital since the decree of Tschantachzü the Great in 3629 CY. Prior to Gintem settlement, the city served as the capital of the Doccábhan Quinquevirate. X
Etymology
The name Dusorson is a Tschintierst borrowing of the Classical Doccábh name of the city, Duissersen. The name itself is believed to derive from "merchant place" or "place of the merchants."
History
Doccábh settlement
The first initial settlement of Dusorson began in X CY, where it would grow as a Doccábhan settlement. They would settle near the northern delta of the Jarüden River, south of the Ygod River tributary. X
First sack of Dusorson
Dusorson would be sacked and burned following the (some Doccábhan civil war) on the orders of (someone). The formerly mighty city would be crippled by this act, and caused enormous civilian deaths. X
Gintem migrations
Second sack of Dusorson
Dusorson would be sacked a second time following its invasion by Archqueen Paramount Sendeasta Missisin, displacing or killing much of the remaining Doccábhan population. Following this event, the new Gintem settlement farther south than traditional Dusorson would grow in its stead. Just south of the Schteer River, and west of X Island. X
