An imdj (Old Ibsa: ⲓ̄ⲙϫ īmdj, lit. 'dynasty, long reign'), plural amdjal, is the traditional Tevethi designation for related Tevethi nekhshil. It was first used to describe the chain of rulers descended from the Ottician inekhsh Iniz-Ohon I, unifier of the Samatkhaoul River Delta and counted as the founder of the First Imdj.
