The Royal Dusorson Underground (Tschintierst: X) is a rapid transit system serving the greater Dusorson metropolitan area. Founded in 4567 CY from the consolidation of various smaller private transit lines, the Royal Dusorson Underground is the largest transit system in Yazland. The RDU has its origins in several previously independent and unaffiliated transit services within the Dusorson area. In 4545 CY, the Tranzgenschaden of Tschintiessteiss passed the 4545 National Transit Act, which established the Ministry of Coordination, and laid out preliminary plans for consolidation of the various private transit lines in Dusorson and Tschintiessteiss. In 4567, the RDU was officially opened for use under the Royal Dusorson Transit Company, an extension of the Ministry of Coordination and subsidized by the Tschintierst government. Since its founding, the RDU has expanded from a mere X lines, to 5, with a total of 57 stops. It is the largest light rail system in Yazland and the Xth largest in the world.
