Foluwa Temple
The Foluwa Temple (Bosso: Kɔmàra Foluwala /ˈkɔ́màrá fólúˈwálá/, Dzuma: Mà Folúwà Gààwí /mà fōˈlúwà ˈɡàːwí/) is an Aku Kwabolu religious movement founded in 4593 CY by Dzuma priest and author Ogbadunle Foluwa Akoroh (referred to by the Bosso name Sakhā Foluwa "Father Foluwa" by adherents). The Foluwa Temple is directed by the Foluwa Council of Elders, a council of religious officials including Foluwa himself as the head, which establish all doctrines via letters and books. The Temple believes that the Dzuma people of southeastern Nkungu are Bossoid due to correlations in the Dzuma pantheon with that of Aku Kwabolu. Like a few other Aku Kwabolu sects, they also believe that the Bossoid peoples are set apart from the rest of humanity as direct creations of Fakoro instead of Nsangbą. The Foluwa Temple has a physical temple of the same name, based in Kpankhor, Afa, which serves as the headquarters of the Foluwa Council of Elders. The physical Foluwa Temple was formerly based in Foluwa's hometown of Luwa, Bomakwodor, but was forced to relocate in 4608 CY after repeated attacks from the Gongor Eke.
