The 4626 Tizi coup d'etat started in the summer of 4626 during the final processing within the Tizi parliamentary body's "Summer Referendum" that were to usher in military and land reforms for Tizi and its protectorate Lon. Outraged by the results of the Summer Referendum, Mazet Hehtiz led a large coalition of Tizi Army Forces into the capital to overturn the Summer Referendum and install a military-led government to halt any further changes to the Tizi Army Forces. The coup d'etat was successful and led to the temporary replacement of the Tizi government with the National Self Defense Emergency Tribunal.
