The Shtigu (Erayi: Shitig [ʃɪˈtɪɣ]) is a transboundary river in Ashnan.
Name
The name Shitig comes from the Shoghashti word štigo meaning "river". This ultimately comes from the Proto-Ashno-Verethian root *t͡ɬʼikʰu also meaning "river".
