Ukuri

The Ukuri were a large group of Yarami peoples in the area of what is now Nözhya. The name was frequently applied to groups which may not have identified with the Ukuri; in later Phelo records the word came to be used as a term for Yarami tribes in general.

Etymology

The name may come from a bullshit etymology in Yarami, another bullshit etymology, or from Old Nözhyin *ukly: "walk".
