The 4623 Tschintierst Tranzgenschaden election was held on 3 Taime 4623 to determine the composition of the 20th Assembly of the Tranzgenschaden of Tschintiessteiss. Eligible voters elected 415 new Representatives to the Tranzgenschaden with over 60% turnout. The 4623 election saw the continued decline of the True Gintem Party, following their disastrous loss in the 4618 Tranzgenschaden election. The Tschintierst People’s Party and the Red Party would remain the two largest parties in the Tranzgenschaden, though with the Tschintierst People’s Party losing 23 seats and their complete majority. The re-unification of the Gintem Confederation remains the strongest issue of the Tranzgenschaden, following the end of the Copper War. The result of the election lead to an extended hung parliament as the large pro-Gintem Tschintierst People’s Party were left to negotiate a coalition government. The eventual formation of the Tschintierst government the following year was controversial, with the coalition being formed with the pro-Unification True Gintem Party and the new Great Free Yazland Party. Voters for the Tschintierst People’s Party would become concerned that Unoorooss Achseschriibü had abandoned his party’s principles in order to obtain a majority, and a public campaign began to petition King Ytytschooryn Wechtachz to remove Unoorooss as Seer, though the king would ultimately refuse. The shock gains of the previously nonexistent Great Free Yazland Party would come as a surprise to many Representatives and newspapers, who had dismessed their leader Schåzuur Dachöss as a fringe political radical. The governmental coalition would only strengthen Schåzuur’s notoriety, now becoming an influential Representative of the Tranzgenschaden.
