Nganlokor Council of Language and Literature

The Nganlokor Council of Language and Literature (Dzuma: Mà Ŋkɔ l'Àfí Àdé Hõ̀ Ŋgãlɔ́kɔ́), also known as the Nganlokor Council or the NCLL, is a state-sponsored language association based in Nganlokor, Bomakwodor which regulates the Dzuma language and overlooks all Dzuma-language media and published works in Bomakwodor. The NCLL was founded in 4613 CY by Bomakwodoni intellect Kumunna Ngodor Ndaareni, in efforts to purify and standardize the Dzuma language. The council is composed of purely Bomakwodoni intellects and traditional historians selected by Kumunna Ndaareni himself, leaving out any Dzuma-speaking intellects from other countries with Dzuma diasporas like Afa. The council was officially sponsored by the government of Bomakwodor in 4625 CY, seeing that the ideals of the council were in line with that of the Gongor Eke, and was given the executive power to supervise all media in Bomakwodor. The NCLL is notorious for its recent ban on non-Dzuma loan words in favor of existing archaic Dzuma words or agglutinative innovations crafted by the NCLL itself. The NCLL is also known for censoring media made in any specific local dialect (i.e Akpaleh, Bandapor) and translating into the NCLL-sponsored "standard speech" colloquially known as Nganlokor Dzuma.
