The jdovs (Dhimze: jhdovs;, symbol: jh) is the currency of Dhimrai and other territories of the Commonwealth of Dhimrai. It was introduced in 4616 CY as a permanent replacement to the "old jdovs", which had been undergoing hyperinflation since the end of the Copper War.

Name

The name jdovs comes from Dhimze jhde "twenty" and the patient suffix ~ovs;, literally meaning "that which is divided into twenty".

Users

The jdovs is the currency of all constituent countries of the Commonwealth of Dhimrai (Dhimrai, New Dhimrai, Askeliema, the West Islands and King Sverit Land) and the currencies of the Overseas Crown Territories are pegged to the jdovs.

Subdivisions and other units

The jdovs is divided into 20 cema, and each cema into 10 ejveen, making 200 ejveen to a jdovs.
