The War of Dhimze Succession, or Second Dhimze Civil War, was a war of succession in Dhimrai from 4905 to 4909 CY. The conflict started after the death of Qarr I, ariani of Dhimrai. His heir apparent, his eldest son Qarr Qarrkheli, had no heirs despite being 68 years old, which sparked doubts over his ability to continue the dynasty. Tavduzi, his younger half-brother, declared him unfit to be ariani and claimed the throne for himself. This decision would divide the late ariani's seven children into two warring parties: followers of Qarr were the Loyalists, while followers of Tavduzi were the Reds, from their characteristic red tunics.
