Mlasteti (Dhimze: mlásteti [mlasˈtʰetʰi]) is the second-largest city in Dhimrai, after Jvuzrada, with a population of over 1.9 million. It is the the capital of Jdversigi and most populous municipality in the Jdversigi Valley. It is the center of industry in Dhimrai, known for its production of steel, railroads and weaponry.
Mlasteti stands on the Jdversigi River, X km from the estuary on the Triangle Sea. This area, known as the Jdversigi Valley (Jdversigiks steteba), is a fertile river valley and the most densely populated region of Dhimrai. Several of Dhimrai's largest cities are located in the valley, such as Jvuzrada, Irtsmen, Berkesi, Sagunidze and Arimdze.
Etymology
The name Mlasteti comes from the Classical Dhimze Mulnāsteta, meaning "wood valley". The city was also known in Classical Doccábh as X.
